About six years ago I was living in a foreign country with the man who is now my husband. I could not work there and the days just seemed to drag on and on forever. I found myself watching too much TV, staring at the walls and stuck in a cycle of boredom.

I wanted to do something with my life. I had a strong desire to create something I could be proud of, something I could start from scratch on my own. I wanted to use my creativity to do something I loved and build a life around it.

One day when I was surfing the web, I came across an article about virtual assistants and it seemed like something I could do. I jumped on this idea instantly and began searching for clients. I created my agency and told friends and strangers who I was and what support I could offer them. And do you know what happened?

Nothing.

Still, despite this setback, I had a gut feeling that I could work online somehow. I just had to figure out a specialty I could focus on. I needed a skill that would help me stand out. In the midst of surfing the web and trying to figure this out, I discovered podcasts. Due to the spotty internet connection where we lived, I began downloading podcasts in bulk instead of trying to stream them. I became fascinated with dramas that took me to other worlds and true stories that made me discover other realities.

I was hooked!

And then I realized my search was over. I had found my specialty! Podcasts!

It wasn’t long before I started taking classes to learn how to professionally edit audio files. I was given wonderful opportunities to work with phenomenal femmepreneurs who invited me to work on their podcasts and taught me everything they knew about how to turn raw audio files into polished works of art.

After two years of intensive study and hands on work, I was ready to branch out on my own.

And this is how I was reborn as the Podcast Maven.

Now, I’m ready to use my expertise to help you realize your podcast dreams!
